Background

My name is Bill Hemme and I have recently retired from and sold my successful Avionics Sales, Repair, and Avionics Business (Spencer Avionics, Inc.) that I started more than 22 years ago.  Previous to this I was an avionics design engineer at Collins Radio for 4 years.  I have been flying for 35 years and am instrument rated and have owned a 1964 Beech S35 Bonanza for the past 18 years.  It is with this wide background of avionics flying experience that I offer this service.

If you feel that you do not properly understand or know how to use your avionics or autopilot in your aircraft, please contact me via phone, FAX, or E-mail as listed below.  We can set up an appointment for you to fly to Spencer, Iowa to fly in your aircraft with you and provide you with expert training on your equipment.  I can also advise you if some of your equipment may not be working properly.

The airport at Spencer, Iowa offers the opportunity to conduct and train for all types of instrument approaches including ILS, ILS-DME, VOR, VOR-DME, GPS, and ADF.
